Alpo, any luck? I have been stuck with this exact same problem for quite a while.
I do a lot of typing, and the touchpad is far too sensitive on the 'tap to click' feature. I don't know how to turn it off which is ultra frustrating!

Unfortunately, no. And I only have self-support from Red Hat, so they won't help me out. On the plus side, Ubuntu 10.4 works like a charm. Let me know what you find, though.
