I tried using Pulse Audio to adjust which device is which, and I've set it up as the following.

I've been racking my brain how to resolve this.

Hi, Welcome to LQ.

From that pic, I think you need to pick one, ...rembrandt-(...)-AMD or hda-nvidia.

reboot and see how you go.

You may not need to blacklist the module you don't want in use.

It looks like both are using the snd_hda_intel driver. Check your dmesg log, see if there are any messages about missing firmware. I have devices that just won't show at all without firmware, others with a detected device but no sound, and yet others that only output from half the speakers.

Hi OldSanJuan, linux user here.

What you did (install Ubuntu) voided the warranty.

Like many, what you are doing is what we can't affoard.

For this reason, I am willing to help you get your setup configured, in exchange of sharing your linux experience with this new laptop.

Does it worth it to run on linux ? Can it handle work ? How is the compatibility with linux system ?

Those are questions where you will have answers.

Thanks for sharing !

Hmm no firmware issues from what I can see. And using the only setting available (pro audio) for the other options doesn't do anything.

I did boot into the install iso, and sound also doesn't work there. Let me try a LTS version of Ubuntu and see if that works
