everything is fine, just change the vesa->nvidia

what resolution do you want?

Do you know what your correct horizontal and vertical refresh rates are? refer to the monitor manual

i want it 1440x900 with 24 depth and i will change the nv or vesa to nvidia

i'ver changed the nv or vesia to nvidia and i will restart the x service now and see if i will get the nvidia logo and come back

actually i don't know the monitor horizontal and vertical refresh rates and the manula not refering to anything in monitor but i can ask hp about this and i can see the nvidia logo

ok try to do the init 3 thing now, see what you get
do you know if you laptop is anything symmilar to zd7000, zd7010, or zd 1020. see if you can contact hp. I have dell and they didn't know what mine is. you can ask them later though, let's try something else first. tell me if the init 3 still works

do this:

change default dept to
DefaultDepth 24

after the depth 16 section and right before endsection add this:

The file in wich the resolution was working, was it for your type of laptop?
do you know if you laptop is anything symmilar to zd7000, zd7010, or zd 1020.
