Spell your words out, and write clearly.
And what drivers is it asking for? Where does it hang? Also, you're first using an old version of RHEL, the latest is 5.5. If it's a new installation, get the latest version.
Second, if you're not going to pay for support from RedHat, then
DON'T USE IT. Use a community supported distro, like CentOS instead. But even that is a 'server class' distro...laptops are better supported by Ubuntu, openSUSE, Mandriva, etc.
