No sound on my laptop (Dell Vostro 1510) with fedora 8
Hello.
I just installed Fedora 8 on my laptop Dell Vostro 1510
(2.1 Ghz core2duo
2 GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 8400....)
But the problem is there is no sound.
Fedora is detecting the sound card....(at least displays the name of the sound card) but when i run the test, i can hear no sound and then get an error message about detection of sound card.

U have to do all is just update your alsa driver
You can use
#yum -y update *alsa*
