Netbook ubuntu partition too small on Acer Aspire one

I have a pretty standard netbook that I installed Ubuntu Netbook remix onto today (dual-booting with Winxp), only to realize that the Ubuntu partition has only 100mb of free space. I tried using format utilities on both operating systems to resize the volumes, but the windows one can't read ext, and the Ubuntu one can't read ntfs. How can I either resize the volumes or uninstall Ubuntu completely so i can install it with a bigger partition allocation?

Maybe you could simply install again ubuntu (without uninstalling it first.)

try gparted to resize file systems

With gparted (get it off sourceforge.net you might be able to do it.

I think gparted knows both ntfs and ext3 so resize the ntfs down and the ext3 up
