Logitech cordless optical mouse for notebooks

Hello,
has anyone experience in using this mouse on a linux system? I'm intending to buy it, but I want to make sure that it will work.
I'm running Red Hat 9.0, and I hope that it will be an easy install :-)
Thanks,
fung

It works. I've used it on RH8, 9 , fedora, and slackware 9.1 currently.

i run slackware 9.1 and my laptop has the pointer feelie thing (that lil stick thats sticks out of the keyboard?) and a touchpad as well as the cordless optical mouse, no conflicting problems at all (had to add in a few lines in XK86Config to get the optical to work)

Hey, I was wondering how to get my Logitech cordless optical mouse for notebooks to work in Fedora Core 3.

I've been looking over the internet, and I see all these great reviews, but I cannot seem to make it work. Fedora recognizes it...but it must need drivers, and I cannot find any on Logitech's webpage.

how did you get this mouse working?
