I installed suse 10.0 on my vaio, had it running fine. now when i boot into suse itll just stay in terminal and wont get the kde/gnome gui to show at all, even after i log in. Even tried kde open and gnome open, still nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You have either completely messed up your install or you have just changed the default runlevel to one that does not start up x automagicly. To start with once you have logged in try 'startx' (without quotes).
