Installing DSL and Puppy to flash drives

Ohkay, I have two flash drives, 2gb and 4gb, I'm trying to get both OS's Puppy Linux (2gb) and Damn Small Linux (4gb) on the flash drives.

I have tried Unetbootin and Live USB, both didn't work, they give an error upon boot, and restart the system.

I know my computer is able to boot them, I have done this last year, and it worked, but I have done nothing to my system nor my flash drives.

Any help would be thank full.

Also, I'm running Window XP SP3 on a laptop at the moment for this.

Have you tried using the builtin installer in Puppy and DSL? If you boot into Puppy and DSL (DSL I know has a usb installer) and poke through their menus you should find the USB installers.

No I haven't, but, I just tried the usb's to be sure they aren't working on another laptop, and they boot right up.

Maybe it's my laptop that is causing the problem?
