Install Fedora 24 on Lenovo G50-80 Laptop

Hi All,

Does anyone know whether Lenovo G50-80 is fully compatible with new Fedora 24 Workstation or not?
I'm planning to get a Lenovo G50-80 to run fully on Fedora.

Any insight/comment is much appreciated.

Suggest : Run the live DVD to check if everything works ....

If you are buying online then you can follow knudfl's suggestion and return it if there are major problems.

Failing that, you need to find a friendly retailer who will let you boot a live Fedora DVD.

Don't know about a g50, but I have a lenovo y70-70 and it works fine with fedora 23, except I have to disable the switched graphics for the nvidia gpu in the setup. I just read an article saying that switched graphics support will be built-in to fedora 25, but for now I just can't use the fancy video gpu in fedora.
