Fedora3 and dell inspiron 8100

Hi all,
I installed the Fedora 3 on my dell inspiron 8100, yesterday.
Everything goes fine, except one thing. That is suprising me very much.
The keybord does NOT completely work.

My "PAGE UP" and "PAGE DOWN" keys dont work.

I tried to change the keyboard layout. Other keys work fine with the new layout. But the PgUp and PgDn keys are still not in action.

My colleagues and I have no idea what happens, and we have no solution absolutely at all. If anybody has any suggestion, I would like to hear and try. Please, please. helpme!!

I have the same laptop that you have and FC3 did just fine on the keyboard thing. You may think of your keyboard is broken or somethin'?

Execute the command ' xev '. This is a tool that displays the key codes for keys. If it detects the keys it will give a keycode value. See if it does and what you get. By the way which gui you running?

Problem detected

Thank you both for replying. I ran xev, and it doesnot detect the both keys. I think I hv to forward the question to DELL hardware support forum now.

Thank you again. it has been a great pleasure for posting question here.
