I used to have a Dell Inspiron Mini 9, but eventually sold it to my dad. They're nice, but my hands were way too big for it and they kept cramping up. Aside from end-user physical limitations, the only thing I have to complain about with these netbooks, is the location of some of the keys (the ' and " key is next to the spacebar, for instance).
It seems to me the Dell Vostro A90 is just an all-black version of the Inspiron Mini 9. Either way, it is still a sweet little machine, aside from some of the funny key locations.
EDIT: For what it's worth, if you are interested in installing Slackware onto one of those little bad-boys, I wrote a HOWTO on my website: http://www.gnuwave.org/drupal/articl...inspiron-mini9
Given that they are more-than-likely extremely similar under the hood, my instructions should (hopefully) carry over.
OH your' right that is a vostro netbook and not a mini 9.. Ooops.
Should be the same thing like you said though.. the hardware in all of the netbooks is very similar, varying for the network, wireless, and things like that. .
and yes the keyboards are a bit small for me as well, so I can's comfortably use them for extended periods either.
