I have contacted the corporate offices of HP I was told that the notebook that I was speak to them about did not exist obviously this was not true. After several conversations with tech support and various other departments it was discovered that the 2184AT (the stripped down version of my 2175US) was a prouct that was a special order by some unidentified large corporation. I was told that any and all drivers would be posted on the web page for the system this also was not true after looking around as usual the only drivers I found were for MSWin. Some where some one at HP must have the drivers for these machine and I intend to find them. I was told by the HP corp. rep to contact the sales department and I might be able to track down the correct person or drivers. any one interested in bothering HP the # is 888-202-4619. If anyone knows of any direct contact information for a linux group within the HP organization please send me the info. I will continue to post any further updates that I find.
