woodwell31 LQ Newbie Registered: Aug 2006 Posts: 1 Rep:	cannot activate wireless on HP pavilion dv1000 Ubuntu 10.1 appeared to install properly on this machine, however wireless button will not turn on wireless function. I have tried to see if there might be something in the bios setup to handle this, but there is nothing there. Cannot connect to the internet unless thus peoblemm is solved.
