Acer N30, synCE and Fedora Core
Just got myself an Acer N30 which I thought I would be able to link to my linux box (Fedora Core 1) and sync to Evolution.
In theory this is possible - but in practice - no joy.
I have followed the instructions on the SynCE pages (ie - the manufacturer and model details).
I can run synce-serial-start without problems, but nothing happens and pstatus gives "Unable to initialize RAPI: An unspecified failure has occurred".
The device is on ttyUSB0. message log gives the following:
hub.c: new USB device 00:02.2-3, assigned address 2
usb.c: USB device 2 (vend/prod 0x502/0x16e3) is not claimed by any active driver
Any ideas on what to do next?
