Unhappy User-mode Linux segv in early boot

The segv that I am talking about is in 2.6.20.2 and is in the ZLib compression support. I don't know why this is happening . I can't turn off Zlib compression so I cannot use ethernet support, which the Zlib compression appears to crash. Is anyone else having this problem? (Hint: it only appears when running in GDB, but whether it is being debugged or not I cannot use the network.)

I use GCC-4.1 and SKAS3 on the host. The reason why I upgraded from the debianized UML is because of DPKG and a host signal 7: Bus error.
