Network access
I have two questions. First, when I'm running the Gnome desktop, I can view folders and files on my networked Windows PCs. Is there a way to list or access those files when I'm running a terminal window, or from the non-graphic Linux. (I'm not sure what it's called, but it's where you're running commands prior to starting the x windows environment.) Also, I'm running a PIII 700Mhz HP N5270 Pavilion laptop, and Fedora 6 core. When I'm running the Gnome desktop, it freezes up. There's no rhyme or reason to what I'm doing. I'm running a dual boot with Windows 2000 Professional, and that OS never freezes. Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this? I'm a Linux newbie, so I may have installed something incorrectly when I installed Fedora. Thanks in advance.
