/etc/mtab contains /dev/fd0 default row in suse 11.1


Hello Linux Ouestions,

If someone would send to me the default row in the etc/mtab file that begins with /dev/fd0. I am using suse 11.1.

I made a copy of the original then deleted it.

/etc/mtab only lists the mounted filesystems. If you want /dev/fd0 in it just use the "mount" command to mount it.

I suspect what you're really after is an entry for /etc/fstab which is the one where you tell it what to mount at boot. Or it could be in your /etc/automount* stuff for automatically mounting when it detects a floppy.
