{ LastFailedSens=0x04 } (idedisk-multi-mode)

I'm getting this { LastFailedSense=0x04 } error when I try to mount a dvd/cdrom. I googled a little and found a tip to enable idedisk-multi-mode in the kernel, but is this module removed in the latest kernels? I can't seem to find it either with browsing nor searcing.

The real issue here is that when I try to mount a dvd/cd I get this errors:
Code:
hda: cdrom_decode_status: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
hda: cdrom_decode_status: error=0x40 { LastFailedSense=0x04 }
hda: possibly failed opcode: 0xa0
hda: cdrom_decode_status: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
hda: cdrom_decode_status: error=0x40 { LastFailedSense=0x04 }
hda: possibly failed opcode: 0xa0
hda: cdrom_decode_status: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
hda: cdrom_decode_status: error=0x40 { LastFailedSense=0x04 }
hda: possibly failed opcode: 0xa0
hda: cdrom_decode_status: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
hda: cdrom_decode_status: error=0x40 { LastFailedSense=0x04 }
hda: possibly failed opcode: 0xa0
hda: DMA disabled
hda: ATAPI reset complete
But for some reason it works just fine to burn dvds. I've tried different kernel versions with the slackware-huge .config file, and nothing seems to work.

Any tips, either on idedisk-multi-mode or the problem it self?

Hmm.. Seems to be working when I disable DMA. It hasn't been that way before, and I would prefer a different solution since burning dvd's without DMA pita..

I forgot about this issue. Anyway, I blew my fuse a few days ago, so I could eventually check the cable. Anyway, it was alright, and I didn't really think it would be a problem either since it works to burn with DMA full speed. Anyway, it works, it's just a little annoying that it doesn't work "perfect"
