Angry X crashed

This evening as I started my Red Hat box, it refused to start the X-server. The error was:
Failed to load module "pcidata". Exiting!

Till yesterday everything was working fione. Anyone has any idea what might be wrong and how this can be fixed?

Thankx in advance...

SO no one knows , eh?

Anyways, my fears were not unfounded. X Server is still a VERY unstable product(not unlike osme others, especially LILO) and will do certain "goofy" things with your system.
I solved the above problem by putting in the Red Hat CD and opting for an upgrade. Then I selected all the XFree86 packages (devels included) and installed them. Everything went fine and the display came back.

Hopefully that helps....
