where my roms at?!

so i thought i'd give cdrecord a whirl. and i think it worked, but when i went to check it i realized something that's been like this for a while. i can't read my roms. when i type to go to /mnt/cdrom2 in a console it reads

bash: cd: cdrom2: Input/output error

and i can't access it through my kword application. i recently turned off some programs that boot up at start up...so maybe i turned off one to many.

anyone?

ok, sorry...apparently it must be because i didn't close the cd or something, because it will read some of my other cds...

ok...now i'll go back to cdrecord and figure it out.
