Unhappy What is the difference between an i-series and a p-series machine?


I hear a lot about the i-series and a p-series and z-series machine.
could you please tell me what the differnece betweeen these are?

Google gave a lot of hits on this topic. Try doing Google with:
difference between i-series and p-series

In the search bar.

The first hit I got was from IBM's site and talks about how the differences relate to Linux:
