Ubuntu recognises SB Live! 24 Sound card, but still no sound...!


Hi All,

Fresh ubuntu install.
Alsamixer recognises/sees the Live! card
Underneath that it sees the mobo nvidia builtin sound
Still no actual sound
(+No sign of emu10k in the lsmod listed below; is CA0106 what im looking for?)

Im a noob, still, so please be quite specific with any terminal comamnds!

So, Ubuntu sees the card, alsa sees the card, hell the man on the moon sees the damn card, but nobody is playing any sound! Ina bit of a rush as I must leave today, and dont want to leave this mess behind me.

Gone through every single input port, still no sound.

help, suggestions?

Please try this commands
