sound card problems...


alright, i got the sound card working, but i need the line out to work. i don't have any pc speakers, so i run the lineout to my home stereo and have it play this way.(it worked on windows). do i need to buy some pc. speakers.. or is there a way to enable the line-out on my card?? thanks

Wouldn't you just be connecting the PC speakers to the same 'plug' (line-out) as you're doing now anyway? Have you got any sound output at all (try plugging some headphones into the line-out)? If so, but connecting your PC --> stereo doesn't work, then I'd think it's more to do with either your stereo or the cable linking the two.
