RAID 1 setup

hi

i have one HP ML310 server in that i want to make RAID 1 set up with 2 hard drivers one of them has RHEL4.0 installed and sencond one is empty and i dont want to loose any data..so is it possible??

please tell me how to open a bios in that server as i dont know i have tried F8,F12,INSERT,DELETE keys

Those are for software RAIDs, you shouldn't need to get into the BIOS for that. If you want a hardware RAID you need a RAID card.

thank you ...

i already have RAID card.but when system boots both hard drives comes into RAID 0,but i want RAID 1 configuration. for that what should i do?

you need to hit whatever keys it tells you to go into the RAID menu, delete the old RAIDs and configure a new one
