PS2 keyboard won't wake up hibernating system

I used USB keyboards for some 10 years and they always worked very well at waking up my hibernating computer. A slight touch on any key would do the job.

Now I'm using a PS/2 keyboard and it doesn't do that job. The computer won't wake up. The mouse is USB, but won't do it either.

I googled and found just a few threads that mention some kind of hack that involves /proc/acpi/wakeup but I completely fail to understand how that is supposed to work. Does anyone here know how to fix it?

Code:
cat /proc/acpi/wakeup

Check your BIOS power management settings, PS/2 keyboard wake up may be enabled from there.

Yes, I had to enable it in the BIOS.

It's working now. Thank you.
