Problems configuring QLogic QLA2300F HBA on RH 8.0


I;m trying to get a QLogic QLA2300F Fibre Channel card to work on a StorageTek SAN under RH 8.0 ..

I have downloaded/compiled and installed the latest kernel module .. qla2x00.o and it seems to work. I can view the card info in /proc/scsi/qla2x00/3 see below.

I am having problems with the Qlogic SANblade Manager, when I connect to the host I see no Fibre cards available ... is there something I have missed ?

Thanks .. I sussed it out .. thwe problem was the drivers are actually supplied in RH8.0 but not in the scsi dir .. they are in the addon directory.

All sorted now
