problem while running linux 9,it always stops at checking modular dependencies
hi
i am new to this and new to linux too.I installed my system linux 9.installation works out smoothly,but after installation when we goes to os it stops near checking modular dependencies.
in my system win98 and win2000 is there.
Actually i have 40 gb harddiskand 35 gb is used for win98 & win 2000.

The first time it goes through checking module dependencies, it may take a little while. Let it sit there for a while, it should only take a long time the first time. Check it by pressing your caps-lock key on your keyboard and see if the light on the keyboard turns on/off. If it does, your computer is not frozen, let it sit. I have a laptop that it took about 5 minutes the first time it checked dependencies, now it takes about 4 seconds.
