I'm attempting to print from a RedHat9 box to a network attached Okidata 810e. This printer is connected through an Intel NetportExpress print server.

What is happening is that when I print from Xpdf and Mozilla I get a memory overflow error on this printer. The printer is set for bidirrectional communication and the port speed has been altered to all possible configurations.

The memory settings on the printer ar set to auto.

The issue does not seem to appear when printing from OpenOffice, so perhaps it is more of an issue with how print handeling is done differently in those application.

Regardless, this is becoming an issue and when it comes to troubleshooting printing in Linux... well, I'm still at a Microsoft level when it comes to printing.

Any suggestions?
