My Brother printer - MFC-J680 - doesn't seem to be getting print jobs from the printers connected to it.

Hello,
3 or 4 months ago, somehow print jobs from the computers I use, one connected via USB and the other connected via WiFi, stopped being accepted by the printer. I don't know if the computers aren't transmitting the jobs or if the printer is somehow not accepting them. I'm at work and not by the printer now. As I recall, I'll open the print interface from whatever program I'm using, (word processor, pdf reader, etc), press print, it will seem as if the job has been sent, then nothing happens with the printer.
I'm using Ubuntu 22.04 (the Kubuntu flavor), on the computer connected via wi-fi and an older version of Ubuntu, (I think vers. 20) on the computer connected via USB.
I've found that the printer's scanning function still communicates with the computer I have connected to it via USB, (I haven't tried it with the wireless connection). I also found a couple of weeks ago, that the printer will print a test page, so it seems to still be operating.
Does anyone have a suggestion for this problem?
Thanks!

Check the cups logs /var/log/cups. Maybe cups-browsed or avahi is not finding the printer but depends on how it was setup configured. What is the printer's URI?

Check the printer queues to see if there are any print jobs "hung up". Although if you could print a test page that may not be the case on that particular computer. Make sure that printer queues are enabled. Look at the cups web printer page.

I believe the printer should automatically detect which interface is active. Have you installed any updates lately?

Perhaps you need to add 32- bit support?
