Slack, 9.1 no dual boot. Cannot post XF86Config, dont know VI that well
Ive configured XF86Config a dozen different times, changed protocal, and dev and everything and mouse is still not working. I have a cursor but will not move. yes its plugged in. it works with XP ive tested it already its new. It was working before the reistallation of Slack. The only thing that changed from playing around with the XF86Config file is that when i changed protocal to auto/PNP kde loads much faster, before it took 20 seconds after changeing it only a few but mouse still does not work. Any ideas?
my other post was embeded in like 10 posts of another question in the general forum and this is more of a hardware problem than general.
Oh.sorry

Its has a usb connector going into a ps/2 adapter into a KVM switch that hooks into ps/2 on the comp.
It has always worked like this with RH9, Mandy9.2 and the first time i installed slack 2 days ago. After i reinstalled slack mouse stopped working.
