Exclamation Motherboard voltage settings

Ok... My friend the other day decided to take out the motherboard of his PC to swap it with another motherboard, but apparently he thought that it was no big deal to not plug in the motherboard voltage pins and jumpers.

Both him and I are stuck in a huge problem, because, being that this motherboard is a 2nd-hand motherboard, we lack the original manual, and we also are clueless as to what type of motherboard model it is.

We have looked all over the motherboard to see if it lists the motherboard model or something of that kind, but we have had no luck.

Now the question is this: Is their anyway to find out what the model of the motherboard is regarding this disasterous scenario?

there is NO writting anywhere on the drive? no logos or anything? you could maybe match up a logo and a chipset and visit the site (ie a 'Asus' logo) to search for motherboards that use that chipset.

if you cant boot it up and there is nothing on the physical board at all then i would think theres no way to tell.
