ChineseStunna LQ Newbie Registered: Feb 2003 Posts: 2 Rep:	Mandrake 9 with adaptec 29160 I have decided to give Linux a try and have pick Mandrake as a start off point since it seems relatively easy to use and install. So I downloaded Mandrake 9 from the site and made bootable CDs. Everything was fine until I got to the Harddrive patitioning/configuring part of the installation when it says I have no HDs attached to the system, I have my 18GB 10K RPM IBM SCSI attached to my Adaptec 29160 (which was detected and module installed for) so I don't really know what's wrong. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Stunna
