m2 heatsinks best practice

Specifically for a typical ATX tower where everything is at a 90 degree angle.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09YRD9RMY?psc=1 I purchased this heatsink but I hesitate on appying it to the new B550 tomahawk board. I am overthinking because the heatsink is seven ounces (198g) versus the much lighter heatsink provided by the MB manufacturer. My fear is that it will cause issues/wear on the nvme slot.

Have I lost my mind?

Not something I've ever dealt with personally, but this thread from Super User might help.
