I've had it with linuz-bye

Sorry guys and girls but I have had it with linux. I find that it is a technically presumptuous operating system that is unforgivving and demanding. I don't have time to dick arond and fart about with the simplest of tasks. I have an intel P4-2,4 Ghz box with a P4Pe asus m/b and 1/2 a gig of ram. I don't like Microsoft but I don't buy their crap so thats how I screw em. Win XP works just fine. I'm not stupid either, I have been a techie for years and am now an I.T. manager in a major corporation. After disableing my onboard nic and installing a generic one the fight to get the sound working just was the final straw. See ya. I'll try again in a few more years.

It just kills me that know-nothings like you are working and because im approaching 50 i cant find a job in the IT industry.

XP is the playskool version of an OS maybe therell be a linux corollary sometime so youll be able to look smart to your bosses:
"Look dudes! Im running linux!"

Technically presumptous?
I think what youre really saying is that no large corporation spent millions and millions in R&D to make it simplistic enough for you to understand.

Bye You wont be missed

No hardware question, nothing constructive at all, and I just don't feel like moving it to general to be a troll magnet, this sucker is closed.

Cheers,
