Question HP 6127 install problems(Compiler issues?)

Hey, everyone thanks for looking at my problem. I've been reading here for a while, most of my problems have been fixed with a simple search, but it figures that a "simple" printer install would cause me to make my first post.

I am following the instructions here - hpinkjet.sourceforge.net/install.php#download_install

I am running into a problem in Step 2, #6. When I run configure, I run into a couple of errors, the command output, and the log (config.log) follow:

Fedora Core 2 , kernel 2.6.9-1.6_FC2smp

I'm pretty new to all of this (big suprise, right?) But any other info that might be need I proably can provide.

Thanks
SSDD
