gtKam - Failed to initialize camera

I am trying to connect to my Kodak DX 3600 digital camera using gtKam. I get that error, failed to initialize camera. It is turned on, and in the dock properly. Also returns, "could not get file list for folder '/'. Do I have a permissions problem, or anyone know how to fix this?
