There are power consumption calculators on the web. I estimate your using about 100 watts or .1KW. Now go look at your electric bill to determine the cost per KWH

So:
.1 KW x 24 hours x 365 days * $/KWH = cost per year.

right so

0.1 Kw is being used, there are 8760 hours in a year and its costing me 6 pence per kWh.

is this correct then..

( 0.1 x 8760 ) * ( 6 / 876 ) = cost?

.1 KW x 24 hours x 365 days * $/KWH = cost per year.
.1 * 8760 * 6 = 5256 pence / year or 52.56 pounds.
