Firefly USBee

Alright, I have the 32 MB Firefly USBee Pen Drive and I can't seem to get it correctly installed. From what other sources say, I merely have to plug the pen drive in and within a minute it will be shown under /dev/sda1/ I look in /dev/ but I dont see an sda1 or sdb1 anywhere. Any ideas?

What's the output of "dmesg" after the drive is attached, it just may not be supported correctly.

Cheers,

novak4ne.......check the dmesg like finegan said ........and once you find what device it is listed as....... create a directory in /mnt called whatever you like I just used the device name sda1, after that edit your /etc/fstab file to include the device and your set......of course youll have to do all this as root...... once you get it set up and are able to mount and unmount it ......you can create a group for the device and put yourself as a user in that group so if you use gnome
all you have to do is plug the drive in and right click to mount it.......

if you need a better explaination let me know and ill break it down
third grade style.......alot of people are asking this question....
