DVD Burner - Pioneer-108 using Red Hat 9

I recently bought a new DVD burner, a Pioneer-108. I'm running Red Hat 9, and I was wondering if someone could break down the steps I need to take to install it on my computer, and also give any software suggestions. Thanks a bunch!

A long time since someone has posted anything.

If you haven't worked it out yet, you will need to open up your computer case. If you're not confident and willing, you might want to ask someone else to do it. Static electricity or excessive force from your body can harm components.

I can give you some instructions if needed, but I need to know what internal drives you have inside (ie hard disks and CD/DVD).
