driver for a Cannon Powershot G5 camera

I have just bought a new and great camera. The only problem is that there are no driver for that Camera in Red hat 9. I have got the driver for windows. Should I try wine or does anyone has a link to a site who has a driver for that camera.

It looks like your camera is supported by GPhoto2. Gphoto2 is probably the best command-line digital camera software for Linux; there are several good GUI interfaces too, my favorite being GtKam. Try installing those (if they aren't already installed), and check out the GPhoto2 manual for additional information.

If you need the driver simply to get the images off the CF card, you could get a USB card reader. (But I'm guessing your needs go beyond this..?)
