Well...I was installing SuSe 10.0 on my Dell Precision 620 (Xeon933) a while after I finished the system there's small kaboom inside the CPU and something real bad smell like burning came out of the tower.
I found that 1 of the D-case tantalum on board burned. I tought that's the end of my Dell server. Lucky I can overcome this problem.
What I want to know is there anything got to do with SuSe? It works OK with Windoze.
Well... I plugged my mobile HDD (SuSe 10) again, it worked.
I guess obsolete liquid inside the Tantalum caps turns into gas and when electricity runs thru the caps it's exploded ( hope this theory is right). My Xeon 933 is one of my most comprehensive hardware I experienced and I still insist Suse as it's partner. SuSe 10 was build like a rock solid system, the appropiriate choice of distros.
