Casio Exilim does not connect in Mass Storage mode, PTP only

Hello,

I have one question: I try to connect Casio Exilim via USB cable in Mass Storage mode. It does not work. When I change USB mode to Pict Bridge (PTP), the cam gets connected, but there is no entry in /etc/mtab file.

Does anyone know, how to connect that camera in mass storage mode?

Regards,
Andrey

Not sure that's even possible.
For older Cameras I use gtkam which detects most models reliably. I then pull all pictures off the camera, or what I need.

"mass storage" mode is one of the options in camera's settings. Also camera's user's guide describes connection in mass storage mode (but for Windows, of course).

I will try with "gtkam", thanks for the hint.

A.
