Hello,

My father has just purchased a Brother DCP-110C Printer/Scanner. (usb-printer)
Problem is : Windows Only. I'm trying to install it on Mandrake 10.0. using CUPS.

Now, I've searched via google and been browsing through various sites concerning linux printing. Nowhere have I found a driver for this printer. The model isn't listed.

The closest thing Mandrake 10.0 can find is the DCP-1200. But selecting that doesn't resolve the problem. It wont print.

I have found a MacOS .dmg-file for CUPS. Can I convert this to a .ppd-file somehow ?

Could someone point me to a sollution ? (perhaps a .ppd-file ?)

http://www.linuxprinting.org/vendors.html does not recommend using a Brothe printer under Linux. This is because they haven't released and Brother uses proprietary drivers.
