"Big Desktop" fgrlx

I installed the 3.2.5 fglrx drivers from ATI for my 9700. Im running X4.3.0 on Slack 9.1. I have two 17inch viewsonic monitors. When I ran fglrxconfig I choose "Big Desktop" for 2 monitors 1 screen. It works great. But just kind of pisses me off that when I maximize a window it goes across both screens monitors instead of just one. Any ideas how I can fix this?
Here is my XF86config file for the big desktop.

I also tried the "Dual Head" option for 2 monitors 2 screens but only one monitor was working.

Isn't that just how that video card works?? I'm pretty sure you just have to manually stretch every window.

I'm hoping not. I used to have an Nvidia card that was a lot more .... inteligent at those type things. Windows only maximized to one monitor and popup system messages and such were on one side instead of in the middle. I was hoping the ATI would work as well as the Nvidia and that someone had figured out how to make it happen.
