Hi all,
I installed the ATI Linux drivers.
fglrxinfo:
Code:
display: :0.0 screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: ATI Technologies Inc.
OpenGL renderer string: MOBILITY RADEON 9700
OpenGL version string: 2.0.6334 (8.34.8)
So The driver is correctly installed.
fgl_glxgears:
Code:
1410 frames in 5.0 seconds = 282.000 FPS
1371 frames in 5.0 seconds = 274.200 FPS
1368 frames in 5.0 seconds = 273.600 FPS
1362 frames in 5.0 seconds = 272.400 FPS
Now I started supertuxkart, but sometimes the video-output isn't fluently anymore.
Especially when I see karts far away from my karts.
That's why I think there is something wrong.
Does anyone know some settings that I can change to higher the performance?
I also read something about blacklist the fglrx module. But if I use lsmod | grep fglrx than it is still loaded. Is this normal?
In dmesg I found:
Code:
