Annoying Boot Delay Aorus B550M Pro v1 with Slackware64 current UEFI Grub2

Annoying Boot Delay using Gigabyte Aorus B550M Pro v1 with Slackware64 current UEFI Grub2 & NVME SSD.After the loading linux is message prints, there is an over 1 minute delay before the boot messages start again & booting continues normally. It is more of an annoyance than a real problem. The computer works entirely fine in every other way. Any advice how to trouble shoot this?

Update: In dmesg there is a 54 second delay coming from a timeout message (nvme QID timeout) in the nvme kernel driver. I can just live with the delay or swap with other nvme drives which might work better. The mother board & nvme hardware are not playing nice in the linux driver kernel environment. There is a kernel parameter that I can try that requires some futzing around with the cli nvme tool to get the right parameter value for that has a small chance of success, and I will try that later. I will post link & details if it helps.

Anyone with any suggestions to add, please post.

Which NVMe SSD model is in use?
Is it inserted into first NVMe slot?

Which kernel version is in use?

First check all UEFI settings related to NVMe.

Boot a recent live Linux (not Slackware) with another kernel version than Slackware current uses. If this delay occurs too it is a hardware problem e.g. incompatibility of mainboard and NVMe SSD or a broken hardware component. Otherwise try another kernel version with Slackware current.

[SOLVED} My problem is solved and it turned out not to be what I thought it was at all. This is a new build for me and I needed to put both a dvb card and a video card in it for it to serve its purpose. The primary video card slot blocks the pcie X1 slot and I can't put the dvb card in the secondary video card slot because then the dvb card chokes the video fan. So I temporarily put the video card in the secondary slot and then the pciex1 slot was available for the dvb card. Everything seemed to work, however the secondary video card slot only allows for 4 pcie lanes max, which would reduce my video cards maximum performance noticeably. I ordered an extension pcie x1 extension cable. The cable came today , and with the video card in the primary slot the whole 54 second nvme delay disappeared. The hacked way they accommodate pcie4 on these b550 boards probably made some trouble for the nvme pcie lanes causing the nvme driver a delay. I don't understand the details at all, but since I no longer have a problem I am marking this solved.
