Unhappy Adjust brightnees gamma an contrast

Hi guys,
I'm using Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn.
I would like to know how to change my TFT display brightness contrast and gamma because with this display everything gets very brighter and i'm used to a CRT.

Thanks

You don't mention what video card your machine has, or what driver you're using.

If you have an Nvidia card with the Nvidia proprietary driver you can run nvidia-settings to set the values.

Take a look at your /etc/X11/xorg.conf. If the 'Section "Device"' for the video card lists the driver as "nv" then you are using the open source driver that has no 3D acceleration. You can install the Nvidia supported proprietary driver from here.

If the driver is "nvidia", you already have the proprietary driver installed, and should be able to run nvidia-settings.
