dont know if this has been covered or not, theres about a milliion threads a day here.
ive got this wireless 802.11b/g card build into my laptop.
Code:
[root@corvus nex]# lspci | grep 'Intel'
02:07.0 Network controller: Intel Corp. Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2200BG (rev 05)
this is the next card up from the 2100 card mentioned in the 'nuisance device' thread. Intel is sponsoring a driver frame work development for this card under linux. it can be found at:
http://ipw2200.sourceforge.net/
i have been able to successfully bring up the iface using this driver. so things are looking good.
NOTE: the firmware is also required by the driver. you can find firmware links on the site, and ATrpms has the rpm package.
