add an hdd??


i have added a new hdd but i cant get it to work..does some one have any tip or can tell me what I did wrong?

/etc/fstab:

/dev/hda2 swap swap defaults 0 0
/dev/hda3 / reiserfs defaults 1 1
/dev/hda1 /mnt/windows vfat defaults 0 0
/dev/hdb1 /storage auto defaults 0 0
/dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,owner,ro 0 0
/dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy auto noauto,owner 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0

/dev/hda:

hda1 Primary W95 FAT32 (LBA) 13629.29
hda3 Boot Primary Linux ReiserFS 24889.70
hda2 Primary Linux swap 1497.01

df:

Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda3 24305596 8999168 15306428 38% /
/dev/hda1 13296816 6084000 7212816 46% /mnt/windows

/dev/hdb:

hdb1 Primary Linux 80023.75

I run Slack 9.1 for the moment.
If i have missed to leave some useful info, just let me know and i'll get it for you.

Have you tried "mount /storage" ?

You've run your mkfs program? (I would think that you would want to use rieser since that is what your / partition is made of).

It is actually connected to /dev/hdb?

Windows sees it?

Probably should be:
/dev/hdb1 /storage auto defaults 1 2 maybe?
